Initial Consults

Initial Consults

Initial Consults are an opportunity to meet with the Capital Resource Network staff and learn about the available concierge services that we provide.  All information exchanged is strictly confidential.

The Initial Consult may occur in advance of a client’s final offer letter or early-on in the transition process. The Capital Resource Network (CRN) serves as a local resource, helping to provide a head-start with relocation and community integration information about the Capital Region.

An Initial Consult in advance of employment does not imply a commitment. It simply helps clients explore options, offers an alternate perspective, and provides insights on the full range of services that would be available to the candidate, their spouse/partner, and immediate family members.

As a neutral party, the CRN staff answers questions that are important in making an informed decision about moving to the Capital Region. Some discussions may span a variety of topics that include housing, children’s resources, information on schools, medical concerns, eldercare challenges, climate, entertainment, and other private concerns where specific resources may be required. All information discussed with the CRN staff is confidential. The CRN does not report back to the hiring manager and is not part of the hiring process.
